Banks are holding off on foreclosing/evicting from Dec. 19-Jan. 2nd on loans that they own. Keep in mind they only own roughly half the loans they service…

Although we don’t have the highest growth rate of foreclosured, LA county far outweighs all other counties in numbers. The speed with which the lenders are foreclosing on these properties is increasing. http://ow.ly/7pBxD

These banks went after everyone, Veterans are no exception. Besides civil suits, when will the government really provide some assurances that this type of abuse on the system not occur again.
While five major banks continue to deliberate with the state attorneys general for a settlement involving violations in mortgage documentation, the same five banks, plus several others, also face charges for committing fraud against veterans and taxpayers.

The list of athletes who lost huge sums of money after their playing days ended is long. Evander Holyfield may have been fearsome in the ring, but that didn’t stop him from nearly losing his house in 2008. Jose Canseco was a force to be reckoned with when he played major league baseball, but after his steroid use was made public the money dried up and he had to resort to reality TV gigs to keep the bills paid.
